GENERAL
These are the general web shop conditions of kidscab located in Hasselt, Regenbooglaan 21 with VAT BE 0502.796.134.
If you place an order with KidsCab, either on www.kidscab.be, by telephone or by email, you as a customer automatically agree to the webshop conditions. By customer we mean the customer / buyer, the person who places the order.


ITEMS OFFERED
The items offered are clearly and truthfully depicted by means of digital photos and clear product descriptions. The items offered by kidscab are intended for private and business customers.


PRICES AND PAYMENTS
All prices listed are in euros, including VAT and excluding packaging and shipping costs. Kidscab tries at all times to immediately implement the most current prices on the site. Prices stated on the site are subject to errors. (This can be due to updates, maintenance work, ... on the site) In case of errors you will always be informed and you can still confirm or cancel your order.
Payment must be made within 7 days after ordering and if you have chosen the shipping option. For collections, payment must be made in cash and the aforementioned term also applies, unless otherwise agreed. If payment is not received within the above term, the items will be put back for sale in the store.
Payments must be made in advance, by bank transfer or credit payment, in advance on bank account IBAN BE91 9730 8226 9976 t.n.v. Kidscab.
Only when picking up an order you can pay in cash without shipping and packaging costs by appointment.


STOCK
What we offer on the site is in stock, but stock may be limited, therefore orders are handled in order of receipt. If the article is not in stock, it can still be ordered. The customer then has the right to cancel the order.
If one or more of the products ordered by you are no longer available at the time of your order, we will unfortunately not be able to complete your order in full. We reserve the right to choose to partially execute the order or to reject it entirely in such a case.
Delivery times can depend on various factors. Therefore, they are only indicative and not definitive. When the goods are no longer delivered, are partially delivered or cannot be delivered at all, the customer and KidsCab have the right to cancel the purchase. In that case, the goods will be picked up and the customer will be reimbursed the amount paid.




RETURNS
All items can be returned within 15 days of receipt without giving reasons. You must then inform us by email info@kidscab.be of the return shipment. The full costs for a return shipment are borne by the customer. The amount already paid by you minus shipping costs will be refunded within 14 days after receipt of the return shipment, on the condition that the items and packaging are delivered to Kidscab in unopened, original and undamaged condition. The package must also be postage prepaid to be sent to. kidscab, Regenbooglaan 21, 3510 Kermt.
If this is not the case, we cannot take back the items and the payment will not be canceled.


WRONG ORDERS DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
If the customer has received an incorrect order, this must be reported immediately upon receipt. The wrong packages are picked up and replaced by the correct order.
Given the size and special transport, different rules apply to cargo bikes. Please check everything carefully upon receipt and before signing. If it concerns the wrong cargo bike, you must refuse it to the driver / transport company. If this is not done before signing off, the customer must be responsible for the return. The costs of this will then be borne by the customer. The cargo bike must therefore be returned to us in unused and undamaged condition. If this is not the case, the return will be refused by KidsCab. The cargo bike must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
If damage is found upon delivery of the cargo bike, you must immediately report this to the driver. The damage is included on the delivery note. In this case you can keep or refuse the cargo bike. Upon receipt in damaged condition, the responsibility is no longer accepted by the transport company. In this case, you cannot make a claim under the warranty.
The same rules apply to international shipments. If no has made a report of damage on the transport sheet, then no warranty or damage claim can be made. International returns are the responsibility of the customer. The customer must take care of the transport and payment in case of return for whatever reason.
For shipments that are lost or are on the road longer than normal, KidsCab will first report it to the transport company. They in turn will start an investigation, which will take about 7-10 days. If the package is offered in the meantime, the customer must report this to KidsCab. If, after the investigation period, the shipment is not found, the customer will be consulted to cancel the order or to resend it. In case of cancellation, only the amount paid will be reimbursed and no other compensation, compensation or damages can be claimed by the customer from this.


ORDERS
If desired, certain products or parts can be specially ordered. These orders can be ordered per order via the website or by e-mail. Special orders cannot be canceled, because these parts are specially ordered by us and cannot be returned. By confirming a special order you agree to pay the full invoice amount. In case of non-payment, a reminder will be sent after 7 days. After 1, a 5% fee will be charged per reminder. When the invoice amount exceeds 500 euros, it is transferred to our legal department. All costs arising from this will also be charged to the customer. KidsCab reserves the right to unilaterally cancel orders and fully refund the customer.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International orders require special attention. When a product is shipped internationally (outside the European Union) there may be additional costs, such as VAT, customs and import duties. These costs are entirely for the account of the customer. If the product arrives damaged, the customer must refuse the package, so that it can be returned to the sender. If the customer accepts the package and later does not want the product or if there is damage, the product must be returned to us within 30 days. The costs for returning are entirely at the expense of the customer. When the product reaches us, KidsCab will only refund the purchase amount excluding shipping costs. Note that other costs such as VAT, customs, etc ... will not be refunded.



OTHER PROVISIONS
Kidscab cannot accept any liability for the consequences of putting, typing, programming or programming errors in mailings by post, e-mail or via our internet site. By placing an order, every customer declares that he unreservedly agrees with the above sales values. These sales values ​​are exclusively governed by Belgian law.
All images, drawings, data regarding weights, dimensions, colors, etc. included in online representation are only approximate and cannot give rise to compensation and / or dissolution.


GUARANTEE
You have a 2-year warranty on your battery pack / accumulator in the event of material or construction defects, provided the following conditions are met:

  • You are in possession of a warranty or proof of purchase. The warranty period starts on the day of purchase
  • There is no irreparable deep discharge
  • This also applies to all cargo bikes.
  • Excluded are:
  • Damaged and punctured tires, stretching of brake and gear cables during normal use (adjustment and adjustment of brake and gear) and adjustment of wheels and spokes during use, as well as spoke breakage;
  • On loose bolts and nuts;
  • Rust formation;
  • Pedals installed incorrectly
  • Cargo bikes that are used for rental purposes
  • The warranty expires if the cargo bike is adapted or converted for other purposes.
  • To maintain the warranty, the cargo bike must remain in its original condition.
  • Rain tent zippers have a 2 month warranty.



Step 1: Contact us first
If you have a cargo bike for warranty, please send an email to info@kidscab.be. Always include the order number description of the problem in your e-mail. We will then contact you to solve the problem.


Step 2: Returns
In case of a warranty or defect, we can ask you to return the cargo bike. The shipping costs for returning the cargo bike are for your own account. You can imagine that we often solve it in a different way, for example by sending a part.


Step 3: Handling
We will take care of the warranty. Defective goods that are rightly covered by the warranty will be repaired or replaced by the same or equivalent product. Of course you do not pay shipping costs for this, which is at our expense.


Important for warranty
Limited warranty on wear parts such as wheels, lighting, inner tubes and tires. The guarantee only applies here if the complaint cannot possibly have been caused by the use.
In case of doubt about warranty, the opinion of our supplier will be decisive.
In case of service / repair, the customer is always responsible for the transport of the bicycle / cargo bike, regardless of the cause.
KidsCab is in no way responsible for incidental or consequential damages, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or product liability, or any other theory, or for personal injury, property damage or economic loss.




  • WARRANTY is void
  • in case of defects as a result of incorrect use or insufficient maintenance;
  • in case of defects as a result of incorrect assembly, which therefore deviates from the supplied assembly instructions
  • in case of careless, injudicious, incorrect or abnormal use of the product
  • in case of damage caused by use during competitions or use for other sports purposes
  • when driving up and down curbs
  • when driving into curbs
  • when riding on two wheels
  • when loading the cargo bike above the maximum loading weight of 100 kg
  • when cycling backwards
  • in case of improper repairs and improper replacement of parts of the product or modifications to the product;
  • if used parts are used, unless approved by us
  • in the event of damage arising as a result of an accident or other external calamity
  • in case of resale. The warranty is non-transferable!
